The first ticket broker site I ever built. Before this site, I was made out of cookie dough — afterward I felt carved out of wood. First I had to get a handle on PHP. Then how to use XML webservices to populate a dynamic site. Following that learning MySQL to store all the webservice data locally on my server. Then came CSS for design as well as search engine optimization purposes. The last part was learning the YUI javascript library from yahoo for the tab widget used throughout the site. 60,000+ dynamic pages later….. I thought I knew how to build sites before…. I had no idea
